Windows 11 running slowly

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Check free storage in Settings > System > Storage.
  3. Open Task Manager and sort by CPU, memory and disk.
  4. Install pending Windows updates.
  5. Run a full security scan.

Stop if the drive is making unusual noises or important files are disappearing.
